It’s usually a last minute panic to try to ensure you have packed everything, have the passports and travel documents to hand, then suddenly its time for the car to pick you up and there’s no sign of it. You call the operator and the phone line is busy, and stress begins to set in. En-route to the Airport or Docks he will be able to check your departure time from the vehicle so all you have to worry about is whether you fed the cat!
If you are arriving back in the UK by ship or airplane, your driver will have your mobile telephone number and will call you to liaise where exactly to collect your party. Again, your incoming flight details will have been checked 30 minutes before arrival to avoid any unforeseen waiting charges due to delays etc.
